Hey girls! I know we've talked about these before, but a visitor wrote
in and asked for some information on pocketbooks. I figured we'd do a quick
recap, since these are in the palms of everyone's hand and on the tips of
everyone's finger.
Pocketbooks this year are incredible. You can literally go with anything
and still be in style. Take advantage of this and bring out any old
pocketbooks you have stored away.
Look in style magazines for styles of pocketbooks you really love, then
head to a department store to find a cheaper version. I wouldn't recommend
spending any more than $30 on a pocketbook. The prices of these handbags are
coming down drastically. There are many duplicate styles out there. Make
sure you check all over before you settle on just one choice.
Basic black, brown and gray are always suggested because of their
versatile nature. However, many girls find themselves using pocketbooks to
accessorize their outfits. (thank goodness for low prices)!
Have fun this season. The only thing that is NOT suggested are the little
backpacks that were popular about five years ago. These are definately out
and staying there for a long time. Although the idea and comfort of the item
was nice, it is not heading back into style any time soon.
Anything from beaded to woven styles are in, so go out and get styling'!
