Takin' it Back to the Old School!

When I say old school, I mean the enamored Eighties, the sassy Seventies, and, yes, even way back
to the fabulous Forties!
Fashion for the Fall, is the button down blouse with the small tie at the
neck. Check Laundry (at Macy's) for versions in paisley, polkadot and snakeskin.
From the
Seventies, we get the disco era. The color of the disco era was gold! Gold is one of the new colors
for fall (along with silver). You'll see gold leather skirts, excessive gold jewelry, gold maillot,
and the most adaptable use is gold makeup. With tans just fading from Summer rendezvous, gold makeup
is great to accentuate that last bit of color left from exotic vacations. Put it on your browbone
and under your eye (and forgo the eyeliner!) for a very different and fresh look that's sure to bring
out your natural flush. Even a hint of gold lipstick in the middle of your bottom and top lip over
your regular color will help to transform you into a bronze beauty!
